One-third of Americans skip meals or other needs to afford health care

This project visualizes the healthcare system as a mechanism that disassembles and evaluates the human body. Through surreal and symbolic imagery, it explores how medical care becomes shaped by financial cost, where access to treatment is structured by affordability. The body is no longer treated as a whole, but fragmented into parts that can be examined, priced, and controlled. By presenting care as a transactional process rather than a purely medical one, the work critiques a system in which survival is increasingly dependent on economic capacity.
