This project traces the migration route of the piping plover, translating recorded stops, departures, and absences into a path that gradually emerges and fractures over time. What appears empty along the coast reveals change through comparison across years.
Rather than a single journey, the work focuses on the coastlines that remain—spaces where development pauses and passage is still possible.
